Description: MSL's Junior Landscape Designers are passionate about designing creative solutions that align with our clients' visions. They possess working knowledge of the requirements for estimating and building common landscape elements and have the confidence to meet and consult with clients, representing our company brand with charisma and charm. Junior Designers develop plans, assist the team in meeting client expectations, and are passionate about design. They think proactively, can work without supervision, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a solid understanding of CAD and virtual data management platforms. The Junior Designer may also be required to work in the field as needed.

Responsibilities, Skills & Qualifications:

• Meet and consult with new landscape design clients to determine the character and scope of clients' visions
• Accurately measure and mount project designs in Dynascape; confers with our design team to create technically sound, uniquely beautiful landscape designs
• Set an efficient and effective schedule to manage client appointments, desk-time, and team/client communications
• Keep up to date with cutting-edge trends and technology and share with the design team
• Work continuously to improve skills while reporting to senior designer/project managers
• Assist construction crews on site, in the field as required
• Valid G license

Experience:

• Post-secondary education in Landscape Design or Horticulture is considered an asset
• Previous Dynascape or AutoCAD experience required

Hours of Work:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30-6:00 PM, April-November (50 hours per week)
• Year-round work available

Salary:

• $23.00 - $28.90 per hour

Description: Our Design and Project Managers are the face of our Landscape Construction brand, managing projects from conception to completion. They are passionate about designing creative solutions that align with our clients' visions. With a depth of knowledge in estimating and building all landscape elements, they also excel as sales account managers and represent our company brand with charisma and charm. They are adept at determining the best landscape features for projects and pricing all elements accurately using LMN for materials, labor, and equipment costs. They ensure that plans are developed and executed to meet client expectations, and that the Construction Team is well informed about the scope and budget.

Responsibilities, Skills & Qualifications:

• Accurate tracking of daily activities using the LMN CRM platform
• Proficient in using Dynascape Design software to create technically sound, uniquely beautiful landscape designs
• Proactive and clear communication with the office manager, active clients, and General Manager in a fast-paced environment
• Sets an efficient and effective schedule to manage client appointments and communications
• Applies deep knowledge of landscape construction and horticulture to ensure designs can be built as drawn, with attainable production budgets
• Follows company Project Set-Up, Execution, and Closeout procedures carefully
• Tracks project invoicing and change orders daily, working alongside the office manager
• Keeps up to date with cutting-edge trends and technology and works continuously to learn broader and deeper skills

Experience:

• 5+ years of landscape construction experience
• Post-secondary education in Landscape Design/Horticulture
• Previous project management experience is considered an asset
