Situated in a secluded area, on the shores of a small lake, this striking property was a wonderful opportunity for naturalistic low maintenance planting. This site presented several challenges including limited site access for equipment during construction, very wet clay soil, and also the design challenge of making all elevations of the garden accessible by wheelchair.

Following the naturalistic theme of the property, the plant material for the property was carefully chosen to not require any additional watering once established. Large amounts of stone were also utilized in the design, giving the property a distinct northern feeling.

The client was a pleasure to work with, and we were fortunate to have been involved in such a wonderful project.

When my wife and I were planning our landscaping we were faced with some complicated problems since my wife was a quadriplegic and we very much wanted a completely accessible property that didn't look or feel institutional. Not many of Michael's clients would have the exacting needs our project presented.

Michael and his team designed and built a yard that was my wife's oasis. I have nothing but praise and admiration for his company's abilities and talents.
