Matt joined our company in the spring of 2017 after he moved to Orillia from the Yukon. Growing up in Nova Scotia, Matt had a lengthy career working as an Auxiliary Constable for the RCMP in N.S. as well as the Yukon; also previously in N.S. he was an armed guard and Deputy Sheriff.

Matt obtained a 2 year carpentry diploma from Nova Scotia C.C., and worked as a carpenter for a few years before beginning his landscaping career while working in the Yukon with Jat’s Backyard Landscaping.

Matt is the man we call upon to complete any woodworking projects for our clients. His keen attention to detail and strong communication skills make him the perfect candidate. His resume includes building his parents’ house, constructing many decks and stairways, and an outdoor kitchen enclosure.

Besides woodworking, Matt is a fan of the Canadiens, loves to golf, play hockey, and is also a volunteer/member of the Board of Directors with Big Brothers Big Sisters – Orillia and District.
